Second Lieutenant Alvin Beethe was born in 1921 in Johnson County, Nebraska and served with the 367th Fighter Group as a pilot.

Alvin died November 26, 1944, and is listed as MIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.

He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and Purple Heart.
