There is no marker for Arthur Moore in Salt River, however there is a death record for him in Anderson County in 1874. He has at least two of his three wives, children from three marriages, and many grandchildren buried here. Arthur's first and second wives, Nancy and Jolana Plough, were sisters. Another sister Evaline, wife of John Stallcup Thompson, is also here. Arthur Moore's third wife, Lucinda Woodard, was first married to Elliot Woodard, who is also in Salt River Cemetery. There can be little doubt that Arthur is buried here with them.
