Staff Sergeant Dale S Brown was born in 1922 in Van Buren County, Iowa and served with the 100th Bomber Group, Heavy as a tail gunner.

Dale died December 31, 1944, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Ardennes.

He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
