Sergeant Hans J Battice was born in 1924 in Muskegon County, Michigan and served with the 460th Bomb Group Heavy as a waist gunner.

Hans died July 26, 1944, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Ardennes.

He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.
