Sergeant Henry Blaida was born in 1917 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois and served with the 120th Infantry Regiment.

Henry died February 24, 1945, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.

He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
