Captain Howard F Adams was born in 1917 in Rutland County,  Vermont and served with the 44th Bomber Group, Heavy as a pilot.

Howard died February 26, 1943, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Ardennes.

He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and Purple Heart.
