Sergeant Irving Bellitt was born in 1919 in Bronx County, New York and served with the 303rd Bomber Group as a tail gunner.

Irving died April 29, 1944, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Ardennes.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
