Lawrence Briscoe, 82, died Friday, February 14, 1997 at his residence. Born November 8, 1914 in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Jerry Thompson and Pearl Hedges Briscoe. He was a retired employee of Kraft Foods, Lawrenceburg and Square D Company, Lexington. He was a member of Sand Spring Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Louise Cunningham Green Briscoe, Lawrenceburg; five sons, Jerry Clark (Debbie) Briscoe and Sonny (Linda C.) Green, both of Lawrenceburg, Stanley Briscoe, Salvisa, Richard Lawrence (Jane) Briscoe, Harrodsburg, and William Howard (Trudy) Green, Dixon, TN; eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 16, at the Gash Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceburg, with Rev. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery.
