Staff Sergeant Lloyd C Barnes was born in 1917 in Tulsa County, Oklahoma and served with the 390th Bomb Group Heavy as a right waist gunner.

Lloyd died May 8, 1944, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Ardennes.

He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
