Captain Malcolm J Erickson was born in 1919 in Hennepin County, Minnesota and served with the 405th Fighter Group as a pilot.

Malcolm died March 23, 1945, and is listed as MIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.

He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
