Private First Class Mark J Benich was born in 1910 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and served with the 329th Infantry Regiment as a light mortar crewman.
Mark died September 27, 1944, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Lorraine.
He was awarded the Purple Heart.
