Mary Dowling Lyen Rawlings, 91, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Oren Durward Rawlings, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at Windsor Care Health and Rehabilitation. She was the daughter of the late Coleman Davis Lyen Sr. and Margaret Selby Dowling Lyen. She was a homemaker, and a member of Lawrenceburg Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Sallie Rawlings Razor, and her husband, Michael, Mt. Sterling; son-in-law, Frank D. Smith, Richmond; daughter-in-law, Carol Rawlings, Frankfort; four grandchildren, Michael Lyen Razor, Huntsville, Jessica Diane Razor, Winchester, Thomas Rawlings, Lexington, and Cindy Irons, Atlanta; four great grandchildren, and 2 nieces, Brenda and Linda.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maggie Smith; stepson, John Rawlings, and two brothers, C.D. Lyen Jr. and Ben Selby Lyen.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Gash Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Elissa Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Lawrenceburg Presbyterian Church, 101 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
