Second Lieutenant Maxwell M Brown was born in 1922 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania and served with the 424th Infantry Regiment as a platoon leader.
Maxwell died January 13, 1945, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Henri-Chapelle.
He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
