Staff Sergeant Michel Aiello was born in 1919 in Sangamon County, Illinois and served with the 401st Glider Infantry Regiment.

Michel died October 1, 1945, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.

He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
