First Lieutenant Philips T Jr Bixby was born in 1917 in Appleton, Outgamie County, Wisconsin and served with the 67th Armored Regiment as a platoon leader.
Philips T died April 14, 1945, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.
He was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, and French Croix de Guerre with Silver Star.
