Private First Class Ruben A La Butzke was born in 1924 in Kiel, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin and served with the 395th Infantry Regiment as a paratrooper.
Ruben died April 7, 1945, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.
He was awarded the Purple Heart.
