First Lieutenant Silas P Beck was born in 1920 in Monrovia, Los Angeles, California and served with the 367th Fighter Group as a pilot.

Silas died March 28, 1945, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.

He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
