Technical Sergeant Varden I Butler was born in 1921 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah and served with the 100th Bomber Group, Heavy as a ball turret gunner.
Varden died March 6, 1944, and is listed as KIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Ardennes.
He was awarded the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
