The Late Mrs. Mountjoy

Sunday night's train brought the remains of Mrs. Mountjoy, of Kalispell, from Laurenceburg, Kentucky, accompanied by the grief-stricken mother, Mrs. Scott, and sorrowing daughter, Mrs. Knox, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Mrs. Mounjoy's death a week ago was very sudden. For more than a week she had been feeling very well, in fact better than ever. Tuesday morning after breakfast, she went out on an errand and returning was asked by one of the maids in the household how she was feeling. Her only complaint was she was short of breath and walking into the house she sat down, called her mother and passed away within ten minutes, dying in her mother's arms.

The funeral, which was very large, took place yesterday from the Christian church, the Rev. Harold Griffis conducting the last sad rites. He paid the highest tribute to Mrs. Mountjoy whose entire life has been to make those around her happy and joyful.

The family life was most ideal, four generations living in one home, and besides the broken-hearted husband and mother, four faithful daughters survive her, the eldest Mrs. M. Kruzan of Terre Haute, Indiana, Mrs. L. Knox of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Mrs. Thomas Craig and Mrs. Harry Shoemaker both of Kalispell; also several grandchildren.

The floral offerings were numerous, and interment was made in Conrad Memorial cemetery.
