Private First Class Walter R Lehman was born in 1924 in Moniteau County, Missouri and served with the 331st Infantry Regiment.

Walter died December 14, 1944, and is listed as MIA. He is buried at American War Cemetery Margraten.

He was awarded the Bronze Star and  Purple Heart.
