Birdwhistells Celebrate

Mr. and Mrs. Carl V. Birdwhistell (the former Mary Lois Moffett) will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception given by their children at the Sand Spring Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg on Sunday afternoon, May 10, from 2:30 until 4:30 o'clock.

They were married May 9, 1942.  They have three sons, Ira V (Jack) Birdwhistell of Georgetown, Ben Moore Birdwhistell, and Mark Dudley Birdwhistell, both of Lawrenceburg.  Their grandchildren are Myra Corinna (Cory) and Dan Moffett Birdwhistell of Georgetown, Laura Moore, Lee Caroline, Matthew Cope, and Mary Allice Birdwhistell, all of Lawrenceburg.  One grandchlld, Lindsay Anne, is deceased. 

All friends and relatives are invited to the reception.  The couple requests no gifts.
