Dear Mama, Daddy, and All:
How is every body by now, fine I hope. By the way March is almost over, and maybe the wind will stop blowing. I suppose every body is still working hard, but we are all in the same boat, what is that saying, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but let's hope it won't be long till we can all play again.
How is the food ration coming along. Bitty told me how it worked it really seems like the ones that have to buy everything, will really have an awful time. But still I don't suppose it is anything compared to what other Countries are doing, or what we will all have to do with out if this holds on, try not to think of it like that, but we have to be ready for anything.
Say Martha I was introduced to a fellow from Miss. the other day seemed like he was going to the Seminary in Louisville, just by letter thought, I did get an awful nice letter from Sis, seems like a swell fellow, what did you say. Ha!. That's alright he wrote to me, some other preachers are awful busy, I suppose.
Have I told you about the new member of the Co. nice pup (dog) she is, her name is "Corned Beef" not bad do you think, awful cute though, just as big one way as the other.
Kitty how is J.B. it been so long since I heard from him was just afraid he wasn't feeling so well, I should write him and tell him you excused him from writing, but I won't not now anyway. Had better stop this thing for space is short. I am there with you all in thought.
